Why choose NJ Dog Grooming School

First and foremost, we care about you and your future in dog grooming. Our very small class sizes — limited to just 4 students  ensure truly personalized, one-on-one attention.

This is not a cookie-cutter program. Our curriculum is designed to meet each individual student where they are, giving you the skills, confidence, and hands-on experience needed to succeed in a professional grooming salon.

We do not believe in pushing students through before they’re ready. With nearly 200 comprehensive, hands-on training hours, you’ll have the time necessary to properly develop your skills — because mastering grooming takes time, patience, and real experience.

While some online or low-hour programs claim you can be salon-ready in a fraction of the time, true skill development simply cannot be rushed. All of our school  dogs are screened and accepted into the program ensuring good quality training for you.

What sets us apart is our personalized training and ongoing commitment to your success. When you train with us, you gain lifetime support — whether you need help with specific breeds, guidance handling in-salon challenges, or advice on opening your own grooming business.

We’re here for you — not just during school, but throughout your entire career.

Why Do Training Hours Matter?

Training hours are everything when it comes to becoming a confident, well-rounded groomer. The more hands-on experience you get, the more comfortable and skilled you’ll be in real-world situations.

This is especially important when stepping into your first job interview—confidence comes from experience and building a solid base under professional instruction, not rushing you out the door to start another class.

We all know the more you practice something, the better you become. Grooming is no different.

Don’t become a statistic from low-hour or online-only programs. Choose a path that truly prepares you.

Graduate knowing you’re ready—that’s our goal.
